Transforming and creative power of the Holy Spirit

 

We often think of the Holy Spirit as a still, small voice, gentle and meek. And while those things are true, the Holy Spirit is also powerful. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit is the creative force behind all of creation. It is the power that sustains the universe.

When we think of the Holy Spirit as creative power, it can be easy to forget that the Holy Spirit is also a person. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity, co-equal with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is not some sort of impersonal force, but a living, breathing Person who is active in our world today.

The Holy Spirit is the power that created the universe and the power that sustain it. The Holy Spirit is also the power that can transform our lives. When we invite the Holy Spirit into our lives, He will work in us to change us and to help us become more like Christ.
