I came to bring fire
on the earth, and
how I wish it
were already set ablaze
and very great promises, so
that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature

on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it

The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

And the angel answered her,
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called the Holy Son of God.
Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that ithrough death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who lthrough fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery. For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring of Abraham. 37 Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth llistens to my voice.”
